HK Gaming App is a software studio based in Hong Kong, specialising in mobile app and game development. Our work covers product ideation, design, development and launch — the entire process is handled by our own team.

We currently run two product lines. On the app side, our flagship is FindMyFriend, a social app now available on Google Play. On the game side, our first title is in development, with details to be announced soon.

We want to build software that genuinely fits the users and players of Hong Kong. Most apps and games on the market are made by overseas teams, and they do not always fit the language habits and everyday life of Hong Kong users. Our goal is to start from real local needs, respond to them, and build a software brand that belongs to Hong Kong.

Our team is entirely based in Hong Kong. We use the same language as our users and live in the same city — so we understand local needs first-hand.

In game design, we start from the taste of Hong Kong players: fast-paced and easy to pick up. In apps, we care just as much about wording, interaction habits and privacy settings meeting local expectations. We keep collecting feedback from users and players, and respond through product updates.

HK Gaming App began with our founder learning to code from scratch. To build the app he wanted, he taught himself development and completed his first product — FindMyFriend. After it launched on Google Play, the company gained its first users and operating experience.

As experience grew, the company was formally established and expanded its focus from social apps into game development. We will continue to build, from Hong Kong, more apps and games that Hong Kong people love.
